Their most basic software, Deluxe, is designed for individuals and homes with relatively straightforward financial profiles. It’s recommended for those who own a home, have high medical expenses, make charitable donations, and need to file both federal and state taxes. It’s available as a disc and a download, and comes with five federal e-files and one state file you can download.
The software is up-to-date on the latest tax laws and can import last year’s data easily as well. They make it easy to upload W-2s for a smoother filing process and it’s engineered to maximize over 350 deductions and credits.
This service normally costs $69.99, but right now it’s on sale for just under $45. The purchase of TurboTax software on Amazon also comes with a free 1-year subscription to Quicken Classic, a financial tool that can track spending trends, pay bills, and categorize expenses so you can have an at-a-glance view on your laptop or smartphone.
